The Retirement Account

We recently launched the pioneering Retirement Account. It combines a Guaranteed Annuity, a Pension Drawdown facility and a Cash Account, all held within a single tax-advantaged wrapper written under Pension Drawdown rules.

Growth and investment

In April 2015, the company filed its first set of group accounts for the trading year 31 December 2014, under the new company structure. These accounts showed that the group wrote £235m of new business last year, held assets of £2.3bn at the year end, with surplus assets of £116m, and made an overall profit of £33m.

Over the course of the last year we have preserved our capital base, grown our sales and grown our respective market shares in both retirement income and equity release markets. We have also continued to invest in the brand and also developed what we believe is our market leading Retirement Account.
