The Retirement Account offers a range of investment choices, including the option of both passive and actively managed funds. These funds may invest your money in shares, bonds, property and other financial investments. The mix of assets in the fund will determine the balance between the potential risk and reward.
Your personal circumstances, reason for investing, and the length of time you expect to invest, will help determine how much risk you take. The Retirement Account has a number of funds which we’ve conveniently rated into three risk categories – cautious, balanced and adventurous. The same range of funds are available to both Pension Drawdown and Pension Savings options but you can choose to invest in different funds for each part if you wish. Your financial adviser will discuss your investment preferences with you and select funds that are most suited to your needs.
An overview of the funds is available in ‘The Retirement Account - Investment Fund Summary Guide’ or you can visit our website for more information including performance, fund fact sheets and unit prices.
We’ve made it straight forward for you and your financial adviser to select the right fund, or combination of funds.
